Despite the pathos that came with the angry and depressed Thor we met early in Endgame, the film spent some time poking fun at the God of Thunder’s appearance during the “five years later” scenes, with Chris Hemsworth gamely playing the role under considerable makeup and costuming. It’s a mixed bag, to be sure, but it’s aided by a sympathetic and funny performance from Hemsworth, and it does make for a triumphant moment when Thor finally powers up again in the final battle....

There’s a disturbing moment in Marvel’s WandaVision episode 2 that breaks up the otherwise note-perfect rhythm of sitcom life. Wanda, out on the street in front of her house in the evening, spots a manhole cover being pushed aside…and a man in a beekeeper suit climbs out. Westworld Episode 10 Of all the films that the brothers Christopher and Jonathan Nolan have collaborated on over the years, The Prestige is perhaps the most flawlessly and intricately designed.
